Halcrow Group signs major deal with Symatrix for a global HR & Payroll solution.

Halcrow Group Limited (www.halcrow.com), a multi disciplinary consultancy business specialising in planning, design and management services for infrastructure development has signed a major deal with Symatrix to provide a global Human Resource and Payroll solution based on Oracle's eBusiness suite. Symatrix, a Certified Oracle Partner dedicated to HR and Payroll, will be responsible for the delivery of a managed service with the Oracle HRMS application. Chris Farmer, Global IT Director comments, "The Oracle solution with On Demand is the closest we could get to a true ASP model...rapid deployment, comprehensive, global, out of the box best practice, all orchestrated by a specialist implementation partner".

With interests in transportation, water, maritime and property, Halcrow is undertaking commissions worldwide from a network of 70 offices and employs more than 6,000 people.
